PERMISSION GIVEN FOR AMERICAN FORCES TO LAND

Washington, Sept. 26. The State Department has enlarged its instructions to the naval command in Cuban waters and has given permission for the landing of armed forces if it is considered necessary to protect American lives and property and those of nationals of other eountries.
