Los Angeles, Sept. 21 ' At the South Western Pacific •tournament Satoh (Japan), advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Turnbull (Australia), 7 — 5, 6 — 2. Satoh will now meet Tidball (United States) and the winner will then play the victor of the other semifinal hetween Perry (England) and Stoefen (United States), which will be played on Saturday.
