GOVERNMENT DEFEATED ON NO-CONFIDENCE MOTION Melbourne, Sept. 20. The Ministry was defeated by 27 ] to 26 votes on a motion to adjourn the House to discuss the retirement of ! , two members of the Geelong Harhour Trust and the appointment of two others. The Premier, Sir S. S. Argyle, regards the vote serfously. Cabinet will consider it to-day.
