B is for Bear, so woolly and funny, D is for Donkey, with ears so long, sunny. C is for Camel, from lands that are E is for Elephant, so big and so strong. F is for Ferret, so small and so shy, G is for Giratfe, so tail and so high. H is for Horse, with a nice hairy coat, I is for Ibex, related to goat. J is for Jaguar, in the jungle he's found, K is Kangaroo, who jumps like a h'ound. L is for Leopard, with spot: bright and gay, M is for Monkey, who ebatters all day. N is for Newt, on water and land, i 0 is for Ostrich, who lays eggs in the sand. P is for Poreupine, with bristles that priek, R is for Rhinoeeros, with hide crinkly and thick. S is for Squirrel, with a big bushy tail, T is for Tiger, from Africa hails. U is for Unicorn, a fable 'tis true, W is for Wolf, who would like to eat you. Z is for Zebra, with stripes, many and bold, When seen in the jungle is a sight to behold. FOURTH PRIZE AWARD. , can't lift. F is for Falcon, a bird of prey, G ia for Guinea Pig, so lit'tle and grey. H is for Hippopotamus, so lazy and big, I is for Ibex, which would give you a dig. J is for Jaguar, so fiery and so strong, K is for Kiwi, which has a beak long. L is for Lion, the king of the beasts, M is for Monkey, which is clever at least. N is for Nanny goat, with her young 0 is for Ostrich, with a tasteless I tongue. P is for Panther, which hunts like a cat, Q is for Quadruped, I've no name for that. R is for Rhineoceros, with his great curved horn, S is for Seal, which in the Arctic is born. T is for Tiger, with. a eough' like a roar, U is for Utang, with Orang before. V is for Vulture, so greedy and mean, W is for Walrus, so shiny and clean. X is for an animal which remains to be spen. Y is for Yak, a Tibetan ox, Z is for Zebra, with black and white socks. N is for Nilghai, from a land far away, 0 is for Otter, he'd eat fish all day. P is for Peecary, the wild pig's relation, Q is for Quagga, of th'e striped Zebra's nation. R for Rhinoeeros, with hideous fea- i tures, I S is for Springbok, the shyest of creatures. T is for Tiger, who sulks in his lair, U is for Ursa (the latin for bear). V is for Yole, mouse every one knows, W is for Wolf, which hunts 'mid the snows. X is for Xerus, a squirrel, I trow, Y is for Yak, a Tibetan cow. Z is for Zebra, the best in our zoo, 1 think we shall go now, our visit is through.
