WOOL SALES
BRISBANE SERIES ENDS Brisbane, Sept. 15. The wool saies have ended. Japan was the principal buyer. Yesterday 14,562 bales were offered, nearly all being sold. Germany, France, Italy and Bradford also supported well. The selection comprised good, to average lower grades and sold well. The highest price for scoureds was 3|d and for greasy, 21id; average price for the week for greasy^ was l'5d per lb., or between £19 10s and £20 per bale.
