LAWYER'S SUICIDE

Vancouver, Sept. 14. Leaving' a note to the Coroner declaring that he was going blind, Mr. F. C. Mayers, K.C., the most prominent lawyer in British Columbia, ended his life by taking an overdose of veronal. Mr. Mayers recently returned from London where he had been engaged in advocacy before the Privy Council.
