Butler, has also presented a cup j for fastest time honours. i Golf Balls Collide | Golf balls do a number of peculiar and unexpected things, but it is not often that they meet in mid-air in the course of a match. Such an incident actually occurred on the Arikikapakapa Course yesterday, when a ball played by a lady player on the fairway of the tenth collided with a ball driven by another player from the tee of the eighth. Factory Graders A suggestion was made at the annual meeting of the Newman Cheese Company that the factories should combine and employ their own grader as against the Government graders, with a view to having a standardised cheese. "What we want is to export one quality of cheese/' where a sample of standardised cheese had found favour in the * Home market. "We eannot export one quality under the prdsent grading jsysltem," observed another shareholder, adding that it was time they put up a fight to get things done properly. Long Cycle Trip Two Rotorua school children, brother and sister performed a remarkable cycling feat yesterday when they rode from Mt. Maunganui to Rotorua, a distance of over 56 miles, in eight 'hours. The pair left the Mount at 7 a.m. and arrived in Rotorua at 3 p.m.
