DOCTOR'S LOSS OF MEMORY.
MISSING S'EVEN WEEKS A Rock Ferry, Cheshire (England) doetor, aftcr seven weeks of wander.ing, suffering from loss of memory, found himself in a London square staring at the doorplate of a former friend, but unable to discover why the name was familiar. The man, Dr. Norman Malcolm Campbell, aged 51, of Rock Ferry, disappeared after he had left home to attend a patient. His wife, who knew he had been overworking, informed the police, but although a description was circulated, no clue was found. Then, seven weeks later, Dr. Campbell wandered into Russell Square, London. His eye caught a nameplate — "Dr. H. Gregory." He went inside, but could tell Dr. Gregory nothing. He said he did not know why he was in London. After a while Dr. Gregory recognised his old friend. It was 15 years since they had been colleagues at a Liverpool hospital. Together the two men went through a medical directory. They found the nam© Campbell and a telephone call was put .through to Rock Ferry. Dr. Campbell was identified and then he collapsed.
