AIRMEN RESCUED
(Press Assn.-
balloonists meet with bad luck on trip
-By Telegraph— Copyright).
Vancouver, Sept. 11. A message from Sudbury states that Ward Van Ormin, a United States balloonist, and the co-pilot of Goodyear XI. (Mr. Robert Trotter), were found to-day 50 miles north of Sudbury. Their clothes were in tatters and they were wan and chilled. They were found by hydro-elec-tric repair men who were sent out to fix the power lines which had been deliberately cut by the airmen in order to attract aid.
