DELAYED MAIL
PAPER TAKES FIFTY-TWO YEARS TO REACH ITS DESTINATION (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) New York, Sept. 5. Well preserved in its original wrapper, a New Zealand newspaper mailed 52 years ago, has just arrived at the post office at Whitelalce near Monticellb. The paper, bearing the date July 3, 1881, was mailed by Frank Huff to his mother, Mrs. Sarhh -B. Nirk, who is now dead. Where the pape'r has been since it was mailed is unknown.
