uonaun, ucjju« *-»• The journal, "Motor Ship," expects the world's mercantile tonnage to he reduced in 1933 by an unpreeedented quantity of from 2,000,000 to 2,500,000 tons gross through losses and breaking up, and unliestitatingly predicts that when the world's shipowneTs confirm the growing belief that a change for the better is manifesting itself, inqniries for new tonnage will increase out of all proportion to any apparently logical demand, f or they realise from past experience that the whole aspect of trade may be almost revolutionised in 12 months.
