THURSDAY.
"The Night of June 13," a drama featuring Clive Brook, Lila Lee, j Charlie Ruggles, Gene Raymond, j Frances Dee, Mary Boland and Adri- j anne Allen, opens at the Majestic ' Theatre on Thursday. The picture is set in the suburbs of j a large city, where four families liv- | ing in four adjoining houses find that 1 fate mingles their lives curiously. Miss Allen, Brook's wife, suspecting him of an affair with Miss Lee, their | next-door neighbour, commits suicide, j and Brook, to protect Mdss Lee, withholds certain information, with the result that] he is charged with murder. At his trial, his neighoburs, each in- , tent on protecting their own reputa- i tions, lie blatantly, and Brook, it ap- j pears, is doomed to death for a crime j he has not committed. It is only ! when a sudden and dramatic climax '• straightens matters up that he is ! cleared. !
