The weather was overcast after rain overnight, and the grounds heavy for the conclusion of sectional play in the ladies' hockey championships. Section B: Ashburton 2, Wanganui 1; Ruahine A 4, Feilding 1; Otago 10, Wellington 0; Section winner: Otago, 10 pOints. Section 0: Easterp 7, Wairarapa 0; Bush 2, Taranaki 1; Marlborough" 3, Manawatu 1. Section winner, Easterh 9 points.
