PETER PIRATE SHOWS FORM IN WINNING AUlGUST GREAT PARRISH IN SPRINT [ Auckland, Saturday The Auckland Trotting Club's August meeting was held at Alexandra Park to-day in perfect weather, there being a large attendance. Although on the h'eavy side, the going for the period of the year was good and some exeellent racing was witnessed. During the day the sum of £21,931 15s was put through the totalisator, compared with £21,164 for the corresponding meeting last year, an increase of £767 15s.
