Los Angeles, August 26. Quist and Turnbull (Australia) beat Allison and Van Ryn (America) in the final of the tournament cham"pionship, the score was 15-13, 0-6, 6-1. Mrs. Helen Wills-Moody has decided that she will withdraw from the combined doubles in which she was to have partnered Ryan and the title will automatically pass to Miss Betty Nuthall and James (England.)
