(Rec. 5 p.m.) Capetpwn, August 26. There was warm breezy weather for the fourth Rugby Test played af Port Elizabeth when' South Africa 'beat Australia by il-nil. The half time score wgs 5-riil. Twenty thousand spectators watched the game. Turner and Venter were linable to play owing to injuries. The fu-st spell was uneventful, the Springboks qsing the lihe a lot and wirining most of the scrums. Poor place-kicking by Cowper lost the Wallabies points. After 25 minutes' play, White scored.a spectacular try whieh Osler converted. In the second spell, De Villiers, ■who 'had gone off earlier with a kick ;oix the head, went On agairi. Owing to an ankle'injury, Billma'n later went ihto the pack, Sturtbridge replacing him as fly half. 1 The Springboks dominated largely through their forwards. Luow scored 8. try while Brand landed a good penhlty goal. The Wallabies were bottled • up in their own territory for the majority of the spell.
