— By T elegcaph — Copyrlght) .
Nassau (Bahamas), Aug. 24. Reports have been received that an aeroplane, carrying the band of Cubans who have vowed to assassinate the fugitive3 ex-President, General Machado, or be killed themselves, has left for this city, where. General Machado has taken refuge. This has caused the placing of guards, armed with rifies, around the hotel in which the general is staying. The Bahama police, generally, are not armed, but the issue of rifies indicates- the gravity with which the Colonial officials regard the reports.
