After the meeting the following' ! statement was issued: — "The managers, having considered certain allegations concerning the discipline at one of their schools and having listened to statements made by certain parents and the headmistress of the school concerned, are satisfied that the importance of the matter has been very much exaggerated. "The parents are perfectly satisfied with the treatment meted out to their children in the school, and agree that the relations between themselves and the head teacher and her staff are most friendly and entirely satisfactory." It is understood that' no further action is being taken.
