Weather: Cloudy and unsettled in districts with a westerly aspect; rain setting fn. Heavy falls likely in Westland. Fair at first in Eastern districts but later rain becoming fairly general. Temperatures mild, with a cold change shortly. Following are the barometer, maxlmum and minimum thermomatar, sunshine, and rainfall rea'dings recorded at the Government Observation Station by the Rotorua Tourist Department for the 24 hours ended at 9.30 a.m. yesterday.
