COLLEGE RUGBY
WELLINGTON WINS ANNUAL QUADRANGULAR TOURNEY Wellington, Monday. The annual quadrangular intercollegiate Rugby tourney between Wellington, Christ, Wanganui and Nelson" Colleges concluded to-day in a victory for Wellington who beat Christ's College in the final by nine points to six. The game was played under the worst possible weather cohditions and resolved itself into a forward struggle in the mud. Wellington owed their victory to the way in whieh their forwards istood up to the heavier Christ's College pack. Had the Christ College forwards kept the ball on the ground instead of trying to get it back to their backs, they would at least have made a draw of the game. The Nels on-Wanganvsi ^game was won by Nelson, 6-5.
