ALSATIAN SHOT
GOATS CHASED AND KILLED ON TRENTHAM PROPERTY Wellington, Monday. Two full-grown Alsatians which got into a paddock with cows and angora goats at Trentham yesterday and worried one of the goats were shot with the consent of the owners. The animals were chased by the dogs into a creek, and the goat was ripped. There have been many complaints of sheep-worrying in the district lately, and it is stated that within the last month nineteen dogs, not Alsatians, have been shot on one property alone.
