SEAPLANE STRIKES PONTOON CAUSING A NOSE DIVE

Reykjavik, Aug. 20. Mr. Grierson, the aviator who is malcing a flight to the United States via the northern route, was taking off to-day for Greenlands when his seaplane capsized. The aviator escaped injury. Later. In a heavy sea Grierson's 'plane struck a pontoon, causing the machine to nose dive. Grierson had a norrow escape.
