THE COMPETITIONS
HOW MANY NAMES OF CARS DO YOU KNOW? This week, I have a new sort of competition for the Seniors. It is a difficult one, too, but I am sure that if you! think hard enough you will be able to work it out. In the following- little Story, the names o'f a nuiuber of well-known makes of cars and lorries will fill in the blank spaces intelligihly. To help you I have left in the first two so that you can pick up the idea. A special prize to be decided when the winner is known will be awarded to the first correct or most nearly correct entry received. You will have to write out the story again and print in the names of the cars. Neatness will be taken into consideration: — Ciars and Lorries. You should be able to write splendid letters about an ideal holiday when you are really having holidays at the present time. Describe where you would go, where you would travel, how you would spend your time and give your reasons for choosing that particular type of holiday. Now, Juniors, I am sure you are igoing to show the Seniors tliis week that you are really much better than they are.
