Calcutta, August 17. Gandhi, dissatisfied with the privileges the Government have granted him for carrying on his work in gaol on behalf of the untouchables, has resumed his fast. It was stated yesterday that Gandhi had commenced a "fast unto death because the Government had withdrawn privileges he formerly possessed of carrying on whild in gaol, his work on hehalf of the ^untouchsidigs. The Government re-granted him the opportunities and hg had therefore tahandoned his fast.
