AN EFFECTIVE HOLD.—The sixth of the series of wrestling holds shows the shortarm scissors being applied to D. Lloyd, Canterbury amateur champion by Count Varga, in J. Musson's gymnasium. This hold when properly applied, is one of the most effective in the sport.
