MRS E. WADDINGHAM
Hamilton, Wednesday. The death occurred yesterday in Hamilton of Mrs. Elizabeth Waddingham at the age of 81 years. Well known to many of the early settlers of New Zealand as a jnatron o.n immigrant ships plying -from England to the Dominion, Mrs. Waddingham had charge of many well-known colonists throughout the voyage from the Homeland 50 years ago. She was born in Staffordshire and was married after concluding her work on the immigrant ships. Her, husband predeceased her 35 years, ago and Mrs. Waddingham xeturned to New Zealand, resdding in Hamil-i ton for many years. Ther.e are no children.
