EXPORTS RESTRICTED
SHIPMENTS OF LAMB AND MUTTON DRASTICALLY CURTAILED Wellington, Tuesday. It is authoritatively learned that shipments of frozen beef from New Zealand to Britain will be drastically curtailed during the next three months. No statement has bsen made by the Meat Control Board but it is known that the British Government has communicated with the shippers through them asking whether they are prepared to withhold their shipments of lamb and mutton until the end of September.
