BALLOON ASCENT
Brussels, August 1. M. Max Costyns, with M. de Bruyn, ■hopes to take off in a new ballopn for a stratosphere ascent between August 5 and September 5, leaving Field Banks, on the River Lesse. The halloon is now controllahle and there is no danger of hlowing out to sea. The object is ultimately to produce a stratospheric aeroplane.
