Hawera, Tuesday: . Apart from a direct gain of almost 3d per lb'on butterfat through the rate of exchange being 25 per cent above par, the Hawera Dairy Company gained over £3000 through the recent 15 per cent rise. This was due to the directors anticipating the rise and accumulating funds m London. The chairman, Mr. J. B. Corrigan, said at the annual meeting yesterday, that advantage had heen taken of the company's financial position iu handling to the hest advantage its London funds. .
