The decision of the Transport Appeal Board to. delete the riiotor service between Hamilton apd Auckland which is part of the Auckland-T ara- . naki run, has evoked many protests in Taranaki. The New Plymouth Tourist and Expansion League, today passed. thp. followirig resolution : ••"That this meeting stro.ngly protests against the action of the Transport Appeal Board in caneelling its tourist riiotor services between; Auckland. and" New Plymouth for the following reasons. (1) Loss of an efficient and reliable service run at suitalple times.-. (2) Diversion: of tourist traffic from the province. (3) Inconvenience and loss to Taranaki 'business people.
