big party to make an intensive search Christchurch, Tuesday. An intensive search for the body of the missing climher, S. E. Russell who was buried when he was overwhelmed by a snow slide on Avalanche Peak on Sunday, will he carried out early on Thursday. A party of 40, representing mountaineering clubs, tramping clubs and students will leave for Arthur's Pass to-morrow equipped with shovels and other necessary gear. They are well prepared for the arduous task of digging into the snow slide.. Three students searched to-day but ^ were handicapped by a heavy storm and were unable to find any trace of the missing man.
