GREAT SCOUT RALLY

FOR .WORLD jambqree ONLY GERMANS ABSENT (Rec. 10 p.m.) Lond'on, August 1 The Times Budapest correspondent says that 32,000 boy scouts, from 32 different nations, are arriving at Godollo for the opening of the world jamboree which commences on August 2. There are large contingents from the Empire, including Australia 1 and Nev/ Zealand, also from America, Russia and Italy. The only notable absentees are the Germans whose oiv ganisation has been suppressed. The scouts are camped in the shadow of the historic castle which was the seat of the former Kings of Hungary and which has been lent by its present occupier, the Regent, Admiral Horthey. The camp consists of 300 acres of Woodlands and lakes and a township including a marlcet square, cinema and radio station, has grown up with it. The scouts have. cut many roads through the forests and their g-uides are trained in 32 different languages.
