THIS WEEK'S SERIES There is an interesting position in the "Morning Post's" Children Page competition for the portable gramophone presented by Mr. Epi Shalfoon. One representative in the senior seetion (11 to 16 years) is leading, but is only two points ahead of a junior who is the next on tlie list. This week, the gramophone points will go to the juniors so that they have an opportunity to secure the lead again. The junior competition is for the best original fairy story of not more than 300 words and all members and new members of the page are eligible. New members have only to register by filling in the coupon published below and forwarding it with their entries. In the senior seetion, a prize valuetf at half a crown is offered for the best letter describing the writer's favourite book and giving reasons for liking the book. Entries should be received at the office of the "Morning Post" not later than Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
