LETTER CARRIER'S DREADFUL ACT CAUSED BY INSANITY Sydney, July 28. The Coroner found that Herbert Perkins murdered his wife and two children and then committed suicide while temporarily insane Perkins was a letter earrier of Enfield and bore an excellent reputation. He was, however, eoncerned with an alleged theft, in connection with which he was to have appeared in Court oh Monday, July 3. This appeared to worry him and on Sunday he killed his wife, his daughter aged 12 and his baby, with a trenching tool. A small boy was also gravely injured. Perkins committed suicide by cutting his throat.
