Plastering & Bricklaying
The bricklayer and plasterer is an indispensable adjunct when the question of building is being considered. Modern buildings and homes demand a great deal more of this class of work than formerly and also demand that utility must be combined with reliability or disaster will ensue. From the concrete foundations, to the chimneys, the plastering of the walls and ceiling, down to the final touches of brick steps, concrete paths and a hundred and one other things the bricklayer and plasterer plays his part. There is art in this .trade, and craftsmanship as well, that can make or mar the value of a building. Mr. C. P. Allen, of Pukaki Street, is a contractor and sub.contractor in this class of work and he has left the mark of his achievement on many modern structures. No job is too big or too small for him to undertake and his prices are invariably competitive while the workmanship is the best possible.
