Washington, July 25. A flood of telegraphed pledges to'day answered President Roosevelt's appeal to the United States for the immediate enrolment of all employers under the "blanlcet" agreement ; to raise wages and create new jobs. 'Mr. A'. Whitehouse, acting-Seeret-ary for Sta'te, said it was the ' greatest spontaneous outburst th'at had greeted any of the President's utterances.
