The wiring department is where the subsidy is most likely to qffect the e.lectrical trades, and for this class of work prices have been cut to bedrock. The standard of material, however, must .of necessity remain high, as it has to comply with Government regulations which are even more stringent than formerly. Mr. Les Woolliams has been responsible for a great many of the major wiring jobs in Rotorua, and is particularly well qualified to undertake electrical work of any description. Among the many jobs carried out by Mr. Woolliams in Rotorua are the following: French's Buildings, Tutanekai Street, Woolliam's Buildings, The Mansions, Lalcesyde Flats, (including all the electrical equipment for lighting and cooking in eight self-contained flats), Brent's Ltd., (modernising the lighting effects in the ballroom, dining-room and supper room), Masonic- Hall, (modernising the whole of the electrical equipment) , also the elec7 trical lighting of Messrs. Lee Bros. and Ray Winger's timber yards and numerous private homes.
