WOOL SALES
London, July 20. At the wool saies 9467 bales were ofi'ered including 6124 of New Zealand. About 8141 bales were sold. There was a fairly satisfactory sale, | and the demand and prices were both a shade better than yesterday. The series will close on July 21. New Zealand clips: Scoured Merinos, "Richmond," top price, 24d, average 22 ld; greasy half-bred, "Woodbank" 14d and 13 3-8d; greasy crossbred, "Hyl," 10Jd and 8 5-8d. Bradford Tops The Bradford tops market is quiet, users being well covered. Quotations: Seventies, 33d; sixty-four's, 31d; sixties, 29d; fifty-sixes, 21Jd; fifties, 1 5 i d ; forty-sixes, 12d; forties, lld.
