(Kec. 9.IU p.mj Syd'riey, July 18. The Commonw'ealth Government has notified the Air Force authorities that money is available for the purchase of 18 aeroplanes. A committee is investigating the most suitable types and it is submitting recommendations to the Defence. Department for the purchase of machines along the lines of those used by the Royal Air Force, possessing tremendous speed and efficiency.
