POLL IN AUGUST Wellington, Sunday. The returning officer for the Meat Producers' Board election, has received the following nominations for
the three vacancies for producers representatives : — H .D. Ackland (Christchurch) sitting. Edwin Averill (Hastings). James Carr (Methven). r. S. Ghadwick (Dannevirke) J. O. Coop (Ataahua, Canterbury) W. D. Lysnar (Gisborne). J. D. W. Ormond (Hawkes Bay). Sir William Perry (Masterton), sitting. The election will be held on August 31 when the electoral committee will assemble in Wellington.
