The bride who was escorted by her father, entered the church wearing a charming gown of ivory satin beaute cut on Empire lines with fully flared skirt f alling gracefully to the ground. Her veil of white tulle was caught to the head with a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a shower bouquet of spring flowers. In attendance as matron of honour was Mrs. J. P. Pennington, who wore a dainty frock of cameo pink satin, fashioned on slim fitting and graceful lines. She carried a bouquet of pale pink and white carnations. After the ceremony a reception was held at Queensland House the rooms being brightly decorated for the occasion with Chinese lanterns multicolour streamers and bowls of spring flowers. The bride's mother received the guests wearing a chic gown of maroon crepe romaine, while Mrs. F. Richardson was in nigger brown and gold celanese. Musical items given during the evening by Miss F. Goodger and Mr. W. Monk, junior, were much appreciated. Among the ladies present were: — Mrs. F. Young, Mrs. E. Armer, Mrs. Berge, Mrs. H. Winslade, Mrs. Keyworth, Mrs. W. Monk, junior, Mrs. C. Goodyer, Mrs. R. Gillett, Miss F. Richardson, Miss E. Pilkington, Miss E. Schadick and Miss F. Goodyer. Later the happy couple left for parts unknown amidst loud cheers and showers of confetti.
