The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Co., Ltd., report as follows: A good yarding of dairy cattle sold at late rates. There was a small entry of stores. Fat cows, showed a small inerease in values. Prices realised were : Dairy cows close to profit, £5 5s fo £7; others £3 to • £4 10s; backward calvers to £3; fat cows to £4 4s; forward cows to £2 19s; boners to 30s; 3-year steers to £2 5s; bulls to £2 7s. Pigs: Small slips to 12s 6d.
