Christchurch, Friday. At a meeting of the New Zealand Cricket Council Mr. Donnelly said the M.C.C. had asked that o.nly matches p}p,yed between New Zealand and (England in England and matches between thp New Zealand side and the Jreturning English team from Austrai lia should be regarded as official test matches. That meant that since 1931 , New Zealand had been granted full ,test status and that matches in New Zealand with visiting teams not fully representative of England's strength .could not be regarded as tests. Mr. Donnelly stated that an Aus- , tralian team wonld possibly visit New (Zealand in February or March, 1934. 'He had found the board of control agreeable to the resumption of suGh ' visits.
