Deep regret is felt at t^| of Mrs. N. M. Keane, a respected resident of Roto^| passed away at her home:^| terday morning after a lon^H ful illness. Born in Sydney, Mrs. the only child of Mrs. an^^H Mr. W. Parsons, of Strat^9 received her early educa^H Wesleyan College at Croy^^H wards graduating from t^| University with B.A. dcgre|H ours, making kindergarte™| particular specialty. For several years sne^B kindergarten work in slums and later went to enter Bedales, a famons^H kindergarten training. she ajso studied Montess^^B dealing with individual e^H children. j^H After her mariiage to^H in Sydney, they came to and for the past twenty^^M heen residents of iRbtortla^^B During her residenc'e Keane has heen cloSely many societies in the particular the W omen's she has held office as up to the time of her member of the committee^^H She was the conveno^B Women's Club Literary through her energetic this circle has grown since its ineeption three She was also an activ^H the Rotorua Gh'l Quide^H interested in all hranph^^H tional work among childl^^K Quiet and unobtrusivej^^K, was admired and laved knew her.
