A series of light westerly depressioh's is commencing to pass to the south. Winds: South -easterliesj p'revailing north of Auckland, Elsewhere west to north. Light .to moderate mostly but freshening gradually in and south of Cook Strait. Weather: Showers likely at times on the West Coast of the South Island, otherwise fair to fine. The prospects arfe for mild to fine weahter in most places for the week-end.
