When he was arrested some gelignite and detonators were found in his possession. He said- he got them in Auckland to blow open a safe. • * - Detective-Sergeant Revell said the man had a terrible list of convictioris, dating from 1915, and the police were investigating a number of offences h'e was alleged to have committed in other parts of the North Island. Mr. Page, S.M., sentenced accused to a total of six months' imprisonment. •
