DECLARATION FORECAST (Rec. 7.10 pvm.) London, July 3. The Daily Telegraph learns that Britain is issuing a declaration simultaneously with that of the gold staridard countries asserting hef determination to "def end our currencies at any cost." The British declaration emphasises firstly the undesirability of the State entering into currency competition in order to acquire a temporary advantage in international trade and, secondly, the need to regulate currencies to smooth out, as far as reserves permit, the fluctuations of exchange due to speeulative influences.
