BACK TO CHILDHOOD
NOVEL EVENING AT WESTVALE. Toffee apples, a childish _ delight, were the order of the evening at a novel "back to childhood" party giv.en by Mrs. E. T. Johnson of "Westvale," Pererika St., last. Friday evening. The guests, on arrival, were received by the two hdstesses, Miss I. Stre©t and Mi&s T. Johnson, and the entire company presented a quaint and hilarious spectacle each being suitably attired in rompers, short frocks and infantile garments in harmony with the nature of the occasion. The childish vein was upheld lustily throughout the party. Games deai to childhood days were once more revived, and an entirely jolly and novel evening was spent by all presenit. Among the ladies present were. — Mrs. E. T. Johnson, Mrs. W. A. McLean, Mrs. W. Lindsay, Miss T. Johnson, Miss I. Street, Miss N. Devin, Miss J. Isdale, Miss F. Bates, Miss M. Budd, Miss J. Allen, Miss E. Clarke and Misses J. and D. Johnson.
