Miss Vera Griifiths, of Hotel Arawa, is paying a visit to .Auckland, where she is the gueSt of Mrs. C. Court, of Takapuna. Mrs. H. K. Vickery and Mrs. Hallett, ;of Hamilton, are visiting Rotorua and are staying at Princes Gate. Mrs. C. Grove, sen., accompanied by her daughter, Mrs. R. Boon, of New Plymouth, have left on a visit to Auckland after having spent a few Weeks at Hotel Arawa. Friends of Miss Margaret McKenzie, who recently underwent a serious ope-i-ation at King St, private h'ospital, will be pleased to hear that she is progressing most satisfactorily. Mrs. Guy Williams, of Masterton, Who has been spending a golfing holiday in Rotorua, returned home this week. Mrs-. Guy Williams is to- accompany th© Kirk-Windeyer ladies' golf team to Australia, where she will a.ct as manageress and chaperotxe throughout th'e tour.
