The English team thus won hy an innings and. 27 runs. The deadly boiwlin® of Robins ruine(d the West Indies hopes of avoiding a follow-on. 'He fook the four remaining wdckets for 18 runs. The innings iasted 165 oninutes. The second innings opened disastrously, Roach suceumibing to the first hall. Heaidley hatted hrillianitly with a nice variety of strokes hut the good bowling of Macaulay and Verity ■gave1 England an innings victory. Macaulay in. the second innings bowled with five men on the one side, all in line from mid-on to short fine leg.
